The rotary kiln equipment is a steel cylinder with an Angle mounted on the support device for the inclined installation of the cylinder. The material in the kiln moves along the axis while turning around the circumference, thus slowly flowing through the whole cylinder, completing the process of dehydration and decarbonization after complex physical and chemical changes. The fuel is discharged from the low end (kiln tail end) into the cooling system, and the fuel is injected from the kiln head. The hot air formed in the process of heat exchange with the material is burned in the high temperature zone in the kiln. Under the action of natural or mechanical ventilation of the kiln head, the hot air and the material flow through the whole kiln in reverse, and are treated by environmental protection equipment to meet the standards of discharge.
Rotary kiln equipment can be divided into cement kilns, metallurgical chemical kilns and lime kilns according to different processing materials. Cement kilns are mainly used for calcining cement clinker: there are two categories of dry production and wet production of cement kilns; Metallurgical and chemical kilns are mainly used for magnetization roasting of lean iron ore in steel plants, oxidation roasting of chromium and nickelite, roasting of high aluminum vanadite ore in refractory materials plants and roasting of clinker and aluminum hydroxide in aluminum plants, and roasting of chromium sand and chromium ore powder in chemical plants. Lime kilns (active lime kilns) are used for roasting spodumene concentrate, active lime and light burnt dolomite for iron and steel works and ferroalloy works.
